MISSION AND PURPOSE

                

    The primary mission of the Ebony Nurses Association of Tacoma is to provide financial assistance and scholarships to students of African American Heritage who pursue studies leading to careers in professional nursing.

 

Our purpose is to:

 

Provide scholarships and promote recruitment, retention, and graduation of African American Heritage students in nursing.

 

Foster personal and professional career development of ENAOT members.

 

Augment physical, educational, and psychosocial well-being of under-served African American people.

 

Encourage non-partisan political activity that is designed to positively impact the above goals.
